I already asked any vmware backup configured or not ?

VM Backup there then - software will trigger snapshot for backup and after backup finish  it will delete  snapshot .

In any case backup failed the snapshot will be there on the VM and most if time it won't show on the vm-> snapshot inventory  .

And it will create issues like datastore space will consume more.
