I have the same issue (s). I tried this: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2115869 to fix the initial errors. The KB procedure worked successfully on the PSC to clear "the cannot connect.." errors.... But, I'm still left with multiple assets of the same Vcenters all with the same name. 3 copies. One licensed and two phantoms. The 2 phantoms are licensed with eval versions set to expire. I assigned one license to the 3rd successfully installed vCenter appliance.
The only error left is : There are vCenter systems with expired or expiring licenses in your inventory.
When we initially started the appliance 6.5 deployment, the UI installer wizard would bomb out at 70%. After fixing DNS issues, the 3rd try allowed us to deploy the Vcenter successfully. However, I think the PSC has ghost entries of the previous two failed installations.
How do we fix?
