Ok so how does VMware Workstation take a snapshot daily if I'm not modifying the VM on a daily basis(i.e. Keeping the VM closed for more than a day's period) & also keeping VMWare Workstation's window closed? I mean there is no point in taking a snapshot again if it has not been modified since the last snapshot was taken so does it behave smartly & skips taking a snapshot after detecting that the VM has not been modified or takes the snapshot anyway?
