Any disadvantages to CDO mode

Hi. We are running NSX v.6.35 in cross vCenter dual site, local egress.  We are curious if there are any disadvantages to enabling CDO mode. We know the advantages are basically VMs being able to retain networking if a VM moves while a controller cluster is down. We are just determining if there are any disadvantages to having CDO up, or any if it makes any behavior changes. Thanks,,,
