We have a customer who is using our hosted Skype for Business application with VMware Horizon 7 (7.4.0 Build 7400497) virtual desktops and Polycom VVX model IP phones. When we attempt to pair the IP phones to Skype for Business clients on the user desktop, we find that Polycom's Better Telephony over Ethernet (BToE) application functionality does not work, effectively preventing users from controlling the IP phone via the Skype for Business client.
I have read VMware articles from 2 years ago stating that Horizon does not support BToE, was wondering if this has changed, and if yes, would appreciate some additional information.
