Hi All
Please let me know that I am missing something here.
The document http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/vc-sdk/visdk400pubs/ReferenceGuide/vim.VirtualDiskManager.VirtualDiskType.html states:
"A thick disk has all space allocated at creation time. This space may contain stale data on the physical media. Thick disks are primarily used for virtual machine clustering, but they are generally insecure and should not be used. Due to better performance and security properties, the use of the 'preallocated' format is preferred over this format. "
My understanding this refers to Thick Provision Eager Zeroed. This is a first time I can see somthing about security and this type of disks.
Has anyone seen anything in documentation about it being insecure and why?
